Tom Brady appears with Dana White at star-studded Power Slap event

NFL legend Tom Brady sat near the action at Power Slap 6 with UFC Chief Dana White on Friday night. 

Ahead of the highly-anticipated Super Bowl LVIII, the seven-time champion sat next two White in the promotion’s sixth event and first outside the UFC Apex. The card took place at the Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas and may have been the most star-studded gathering in Sin City ahead of the NFL’s season Finale. 

Brady was briefly featured on the broadcast as he entered the venue while dressed to the nines. He then spent much of the event seated front row as the four-match main card took center stage. 

Aside from Brady, Travis Scott, Pat McAfee, Charles Barkley, The Chainsmokers and Machine Gun Kelly were also in attendance.

With Power Slap being White’s latest venture, the UFC was also well represented in the audience. Former middleweight champion Sean Strickland, recently retired star Jorge Masvidal and UFC legend Chuck Liddell all attended the event. Former UFC investors Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta also showed their support.

Power Slap’s first event outside the UFC Apex had stars from music and sports in attendance

EDM Duo The Chainsmokers, on online gambling Travis Scott, and Machine Gun Kelly were all in the audience 

NBA and UFC legends Charles Barkley and Chuck Liddell joined the star-studded guestlist

Additionally, internet stars Sneako, Speed, Kai Cenat and the Nelk Boys capped off the star-studded guestlist. 

White started his slap fighting promotion in 2023 after the sport first gained virality in Europe. Power Slap is sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and was picked up by TBS during its first season. 

After the network decided to stop airing the promotion, Power Slap became available on video platform Rumble for Season 2. 

Despite gaining criticism from viewers and fighters alike for health and safety risks, White continues market the league alongside the UFC. 

Friday’s event ended with Manny Muniz defeating Christapher Thomas by knockout in the fifth round to win the Power Slap welterweight title. Sheena Bathory, Brian Ellis and Ryan Phillips also left the slapper’s podium victorious.
